    Vintage Lokstad Lefse Rolling Pin - Brand New in Wrapper
    This lefse rolling pin was a family gift and is in excellent, never-used condition. It has the cross-cut pattern on the wood, nicely-sized red handles, and is perfect for not only lefse, but other flat breads and pastries. It was made from sugar maple wood by the Lokstad company in Minnesota. The wrapper has recipes for potato lefse, Hardanger lefse, and another type of flat bread.
    I have made these recipes with a normal smooth rolling pin for years, but this type and the other one with the round grooves going around the roller are the traditional lefse rollers. It has a somewhat larger (in diameter) roller than a regular pie crust rolling pin.
    The rolling pin is about 15 inches from the end of one handle to the other and it wasn’t easy to find a box that would fit this odd shape, so I repurposed an Amazon box.
